We have done this event before and had a great time, camped over and walked through the 24 hour period. It was a great social event also.

Aikido for 2009
It has come to that time again this year to wind up for 2009, but we will be returning to the mat by the 18th January 2010.
Some of the Guys will be holding impromptu classes during the holiday period, so keep any eye on your emails as to the day and time.

Fuji Ryu Federation Gradings
The next opportunity of Fuji Ryu gradings for all ranks, will be conducted on the 17th. October 2009, at the Clarence PCYC dojo, commencing at 7.00pm.
Candidates and their partners should be on the mat for registration and preparation, at 6.30pm
we will discuss accommodation and transport next week during training.
I will also need to know who wants to train during the Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Training in October
Master MARUYAMA began studying Aikido under the founder in 1957 and has been a professional Aikido teacher since 1967. Master MARUYAMA has a magnanimous approach to teaching and believes that all rivers flow into the great ocean, just as all Aikido styles have the same origin
On all three days morning sessions will be held from 9:30am till 12 noon, afternoon sessions will be held form 02:00pm till 04:30pm. On the 17th and 18th all sessions will be held at the Clarence PCYC located on Scott Street BELLERIVE and the Monday session will be held at Dojo159, located on Macquarie Street HOBART.
EARLY BIRD $200 (payment must be received prior to 01-08-2009)
STANDARD FEE $240
The Fuji Ryu Federation is considering to make available a grading session for affiliated students on the Saturday night.

March update
It was great to see Bruce S graded up to 3rd Dan, Bruces last grading was in 1994. Paul S also was graded up to 4th Dan, Pauls last grading was in 1996. It is great to see increasing numbers on the mat at Launceston Aikido club with new and old members.
